Natalie has studied how the 'Amazon effect' has revolutionised commerce and will explain how retailers can compete by focusing on What Amazon Can’t Do.

Prof. Sabine Benoit, Professor of Marketing, University of Surrey

Sabine is an expert in marketing, customer perception and behaviour, with particular specialism in supply chain and sustainability. Sabine's work is published in many leading international Journals. As consumers take more care about where and what they buy, perception is more powerful and important than ever before. We've asked Sabine to share her recent insights around supply chain risk from the customer standpoint, and what this means for you.

Clare Jones, CCO, what3words 

Precision is a game changer for final mile: what3words is the world's first addressing system designed for voice - every 3m x 3m square in the world has been assigned an address made of just three words. These 3 word addresses can be used to route cars or drones, used as an address when ordering online, or simply given as a meeting point. Clare joins us to share the story so far, plus her views on the future of final mile and next generation CX. Clare was featured in the 2019 Forbes 30 under 30 list for technology and is involved with London companies tackling social/environmental challenges.

Each roundtable discussion runs THREE times so members choose their top three discussions to participate in.

Members submit questions and agenda points and we work with the discussion hosts to tailor the agendas for participants. No competing companies are scheduled on the same session.

  • Member viewpoint/experience sharing: a member shares a short, honest review of a recent project or improvement made in their business, with a focus on 'lessons learned'.

  • Expert Q&A: we invite a subject-matter expert on an important theme for our members and then invite them to ask whatever they want

  • Leadership "refreshers": knowing what to do is only half the battle...our members then need to make things happen! We invite inspirational coaches to equip our members with new tools and ideas to help them realise their goals

  • Rapport-building activities: we end each meeting with some fun stuff so that you make new friends, not just new contacts

     Virtual Meeting - How it Works

Intent Group specialises in running virtual discussions alongside our in person meetings. For the present time, we'll be running discussions virtually.  Here's how the meeting will run:

General

  • Runs over the course of a week: 8-15th May

  • You select the sessions you'd like to join

  • Each 60 min discussion is capped at 8 participants to ensure everyone can contribute and discuss particular areas

  • Discussions are hosted by our expert partners

  • Conducted under the Chatham House Rile

Pre-meeting

  • You can shape and direct the discussion through our pre-meeting questionnaire

  • You will receive info on others joining the discussion

During

  • Join via the web or dial in 

  • Discussions are interactive - you'll share your ideas, experience, and questions of others

  • Compare approaches, get honest perspectives from others, check your thinking, derisk next steps
