SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKERS
We're delighted to welcome special guest speaker, Emma Dutton MBE. Emma will share simple and usable advice on 'how to influence', gained from her military experience. Emma served in five tours of Afghanistan - placed in leadership roles, leading teams to collect life-saving information.

She found herself using the same influence skill set and methodology in her interactions with politicians and military commanders as she was with the Taliban; a realisation that led to the founding of the Applied Influence Group. She was honoured with an MBE in 2015 for her work in Afghanistan.

DR JOHN BRIFFA
David is a career Supply Chain Leader and Jo is a career Commercial Marketing LeaderSustainable Logistics. They will seek to answer the question: Sustainability - What the Business Case?
With so many companies and business leaders facing and focusing upon different sustainability challenges, it's proving tough for stakeholders to grasp the essence of what is important to them about your organisation and brand. And ultimately, why should they choose you over someone else - so what is your purpose?

David and Jo will put forward that supply chain professionals are ideally placed to lead the (necessary) swift move to more sustainable business.
The duo will talk about some of the facts we face in today’s world, how sustainability relates to every business, and offer some thoughts about what comes next and how you position yourself to approach sustainability now and moving forwards - one step at a time.
